Health Tip
Caring for Your Feet
People with diabetes can develop many different foot problems. If you experience anything unusual with your feet, you should go to a foot doctor, called a podiatrist. If you have had diabetes for a number of years, one of the most common foot problems is caused by nerve damage, called neuropathy. Nerve damage can decrease your ability to feel pain, heat, or cold in your feet.
