Jewish Guild Healthcare - Education and Information

We train healthcare providers in all settings providing them with skills to meet the needs of people who are visually impaired or blind. We also offer diabetes education, focusing on prevention and a healthy life style. Most of our materials are available in Spanish as well as English.

Caregiver Information. We offer training across the healthcare spectrum, which includes people who work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, care homes and others.

Professional Training. We also design training programs for nurses, OTs, case managers, medical students, ophthalmology residents and others. We are an American Occupational Therapy Association approved provider of continuing education.

Diabetes Education. We offer programs that promote healthy living and diabetes prevention education for older adults at community centers and senior housing sites. We also provide programs on diabetes prevention education for school-age children.

Products and Materials. We offer a variety of products and materials for both caregivers and professionals.
